I expected as much, seeing as GH:WT will have full online/DLC on the Wii as well. They couldn't really abandon a whole market segment to their competition. I'm happy for you guys who don't play on the 360/PS3. _________________

Hm, this is interesting, it probably means the Wii version of RB2 won't have pre-rendered gameplay. _________________

Kotaku link... but their source is USA Today which should be fairly reliable (even though they have factual errors in the article like 500 songs available for download by the end of the year... unless they know there's 139 more tracks coming than originally announced) and Harmonix have allegedly confirmed it to kotaku.
Good stuff.
Probably no RB1 disc export unless they've worked some sort of miracle though. |

I wouldn't recommend buying a Wii for rock band, not at all. If you want to buy a Wii to play Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, and it just so happens that you can also get Rockband, then thats a good idea. But Wii just for Rockband is a bad idea, I think so anyway.
Especially now that the 360 is the same price as the Wii (with out a HDD of course!).
And I also don't really believe that DLC on the Wii will be anything anyone is hoping for. I have a feeling it will be a big disappointment. |

actually, the 360 w/o HD is $50 CHEAPER than the Wii (which is ALSO sans HD).

The Nintendo fan in me rejoiced when I heard this news.
If they had only done this for Rock Band 1, I would have purchased it for the Wii instead of the 360 and saved myself a lot of trouble with broken talkies. |

That's really cool for you guys on the Wii, hopefully this'll get more doubtful consumers into Rock Band. _________________

I hope this means all previous DLC will be released, because I fucking need that Boston pack...
Also I hope they make DLC work in the same way that WT does it, which is something like you only need a small amount of space to play DLC, and it does something with that memory. I'm not so sure on what the details are but it seems to be the best fix unless an HDD is released or something of that sort. _________________

It seems I should now... |
