I don't know if people have done this or not, I kind of just stumbled upon it recently. I'm pretty solid on expert (about halfway thru the expert career) but I have never played drums before in my life so my free fill sections sound silly. What I started doing is to go into practice mode and pick songs with big rock endings, put the speed to 50% and practice just the ending. Its basically just a fun way to mess around with the drums and also get better at the free fill sections.
Hope this helps a little

This is also a great way to test the reactivness of your pads (and in my case, if my masking-tape job is working as I hoped it would). |
