I consider myself a very good guitar hero expert player but I just finished up 5 starring easy and moving up to medium. I played a song on expert as a joke and failed at 14%. Is anyone good enough to play on expert yet? _________________

I've never played drums in my life and I've already 5 starred the 1st tier and some others on expert. I'm no Neil Peart though... yet. |

I've never played drums, at least not a full set. I played the snare drum in for a few years in grammar school, but that really doesn't prep you for the bass pedal.
I started on Medium. Pretty much breezed through for the most part.
Went on to hard, had a few fails here and there but managed to get through. Hit the road block of Run to the Hills and got past it same day with a few minutes in practice mode.
I'm currently on Expert, second to last tier and stuck on Fall Out Boy. Of all songs. -_- I need to listen to it over and over again to try to win. Why did those emo jerks need to make their drums so complicated?
Barely passed Detroit Rock City. _________________

Maximus,
Don't be too discouraged about the Fallout Boy song. I've completed the expert tour, and have been playing drums for 12 years, and that song gave me the most trouble of any of them (including Rush, Iron Maiden, and the Who). I actually failed that song 4 times before passing it. Get through that and you're good to go! |

I started on hard for a few hours then moved up to expert. Stuck on the last teir.
It helps to play a real drum set, a lot. _________________

He's completely right, if you've played drumset before it comes fairly naturaly to play drums on expert for Rock Band. But if you haven't played drums before and you can already play the drums on Rock Band on expert, you should seriously think about starting to play drumset haha. |

I've never played drums, but I have decent natural rhythm. I breezed through medium (failing on Green Grass and High Tides of all songs, I just kept breaking rhythm during the long fast section near the end.) I've completed all of hard except for Run to the Hills (why do a song I love so much need to be so frigging hard!) and I'm on the 4th tier of expert. _________________

6th tier drums on Hard is still getting me. I've decided to go back and 5 star both Easy and Medium and then move up to Hard, but Vasoline's bass pedal is really pissing me off. |
