Wow, that's it? Sweet.

Will people be mad for the lack of SP?

Is there a way to make the notes for vocals bend? Like when a note drops lower? It's hard to explain... But like in Can't Let Go by Death of the Cool with that one note:" Wahhhahhooowoowwwoww" I can't think of a better example. Sorry.

Yes. If you add "+" onto the subsequent notes in the word, the pitches will be connected in a slide. I think this is what you are talking about.

e.g. The first note is " Wahhhahhooowoowwwoww". However, the notes change pitch while saying this word. Make the first note have this lyric and then all the pitch changes have the lyric "+" (don't put the quotes in, just the plus sign).

Having never made custom charts for rock band before, I really like this guide.

But I have one question.

HOW do you change the lyrics to the lyrics of your custom song????

I have read the tutorial and the other questions and I understand how to chart the pitches and all that, but where do you actually type in the lyrics of your song?

SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER ME!!!!!!!!!!! (please!)

I guess I forgot to put that in there. To add lyrics, instead of being in the piano roll editor, go to view -> lyrics. In the middle of the page, there should be a lyrics1 drop box and then a blank space next to that. Click on the note you wish to add lyrics to, and then type in the lyrics.

Do you have to have every part of the song in order for it to work? (Guitar, Drums, Bass, Vox) Some DLC songs have no parts for a specific instrument. And, do you have to make a version of it on every difficulty?

You can make your charts as complete as you want, meaning you can do whichever instruments and difficulties you want. Just realize if you dont do vocals, you wont be able to play vocals and if you chart expert only, only the expert tracks will be playable. If you try to play on a different difficulty i believe the game will freeze. If you want to play on all difficulties, you need to chart all the difficulties, except for vocals in which you only need to chart it once since the game automatically does all difficulties for you.

I have another question. Regarding the vocals. Is there a way to get the .mp3 to play as a background track for Anvil? Or do you have to sync it manually every time you want to test and see if it is synced correctly? Because it would really really speed my up my chart making if I could make the .mp3 the background music...

I usually have Feedback open while I do the vocals in Anvil. This way I can go measure by measure, see where the vocal notes start and end, and then I know it is synced. If you are looking to have the mp3 as a background you might want to use KRMaker, but I would strongly suggest not using it as it is difficult to sync your notes back to the notes from the track as they would be at a different BPM, and then you're back where you started.

I can't seem to comprehend how to do the overdrives. I'm using a newer version of Anvil Studio, and the layout if quite a bit different.

And, sorry for being a noob, but I don't know how to put it on the game either. <.<

Sorry I only wrote a formal guide for PS2 because there was already a guide for Wii and it's not possible for any other system right now.

http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18932

I'll edit my website and put that in for the Wii link.
