first, what os are you using? also do you use proxies or anything weird like that?
after starting jshmanager initially and trying to download scores so that it shows the login dialog, check data/logs/JSHManager.txt (can be checked from the help menu->view log) for something along the lines of
Submitting form via POST to url
....form data
calling getHttpClient()
executing method
Received xxx response code
exiting HttpForm.submit()
tell me what xxx is for the response code.
note that the log has timestamps and such before each line. |
My response code has been 200 every time, and I get that error. |

I'm adding some additional logging and error checking into the next version for when JSHManager tries to log in. I'll probably post it in a couple days (I'm working on some other stuff as well). Sorry it's not working for you at them moment. All I can say is it works for me (famous last words, or something...) :/ I don't suppose you can try it on a different computer? _________________

Just tried this out, it's alot easier than manually entering each score on SH. Nice job on this program. _________________

Well, it's stopped working for me. I was getting NullPointerExceptions just trying to get to my offline scores, so I thought I'd just delete the data folder and let it download everything from SH again... and I get an NPE (and no scores saved) every time after it's downloaded from SH!

Maybe I did something weird on my computer or maybe SH changed it broke for everyone? |

This is is an awsome program...but it won't work for me now. Every time i try to go to my RB2 guitar expert scores...it gives me the same error as the poster above me, but when i go to bass expert or vocals expert it works. It also won't download from scorehero. Little help please.
Edit: Tried deleting the data folder and starting over. Same problem, everything works but the expert RB2 guitar, and now i get a different error.

in the next version, i'm adding a way to easily upload your logs to pastebin.com to make it easy for me to look at them to try to figure out where the error is.
until then, immediately after the error occurs, please copy and paste the contents of your data/logs/JSHManager.txt and upload it at http://jshmanager.pastebin.com and reply with the url. it should help greatly.
i have reproduced the issue craventrio and Flipside just posted about and have fixed it for the next version.
as it turns out i entered a rating along with all of my scores for testing and neglected to test a score where a rating was not specified. _________________

THIS IS GENIOUS!
I can see myself using this from now on. Words can't describe how greatful I am of this. I only came across one problem, though. Whenever I try to add scores, it works fine and everything, but when I check scorehero the note streak doesn't appear. _________________

Bump for 0.2.1
Please Note:
I have reached my google code disk space quota so I wasn't able to upload a self-extracting exe. You will have to download the zip (or patch if possible) until my quota increase request is accepted and I can upload the self-extracting version.
Version 0.2.1
-------------
- Added extra logging and improved error checking when logging in to
ScoreHero.
- Added a new menu item to upload logs to pastebin.com in the
Help -> View Log menu. After uploading, you can copy and paste the
URLs when reporting an issue so that I can see the logging information.
- Added a new step to the score download wizard that allows you to download
scores for multiple platforms/difficulties/instruments in one shot.
- Fixed bug when trying to download RB scores where a rating wasn't specified.
- Added a CSV score importer accessible from the "Scores" menu. See
Readme.txt for more details. _________________
