Make sure you're the only one making inputs, if you're using guitar(s) make sure they're not tilted, and it's easiest to do on drums. and make sure you're doing it

I unplugged every controller except the drums and its still not working

Do you do the cheat on the screen with Rockband 2 and the start screen on it.

I do the cheat right when that comes up and it doesn't work.

You need to go to the "Modify Game" menu under "Extras."

do this disable saving at PS2?

im bored to complete that career.

i got RB and RB2 yesterday, and i wan all songs, so i have to do that same cheat everytime im gonna play?
