Don't Make Me Wait: Amazing on guitar, one of the best fun charts yet. Drums are fun despite glitched notes, with challenging unique patterns.
She Does: Dull and chordy on guitar, with a fun solo though. Drums are not too tricky either.
All Over Again: Guitar is pretty easy, sightread FC gold star. Variety of chords. Drums have a variety of fun, not too challenging parts.
I would recommend all of them at this price, but the best is definitely Don't Make Me Wait. _________________

When people say Don't make me wait has glitchy notes, do they mean ala New Wave? that some notes are un-hittable no matter what you do? |

I was pleasantly surprised by this pack, although Moving Pictures would have been better. _________________

I've only done the guitar and bass for both, and I approve of the Locksley pack. _________________

These songs are really catchy and fun. Don't Make Me Wait is the best in my opinion. I've never heard of Locksley, but I downloaded the pack anyway because it's a great deal, and I'm glad I did. So check this pack out, and you might actually like these songs. _________________

yeah, its just like new wave where the notes are just slightly off the bass pedal.... its just in pre chorus 1 and chorus 1.
(see costable's video on youtube)

Alright
I just finished playing through this pack and I have to say that this is probably as fun or probably 1.5 times more fun than the Oasis pack (one of my favorites). They are so fun and fulfilling to play that I actually forgot that MP was supposed to come out.
STOP COMPLAINING. Go buy at least one of the songs - I mean, look around your room. Can you find a dollar? Good. Consider your opportunity cost here. Buy Don't make me wait or All Over Again and give them a -chance- for christ sake. It's probably one of the better packs to come out, not only that, you're STILL getting MP, so -what the hell- do you have to lose?
Please for the love of god, give these guys and HMX a chance to prove to you that unknown stuff can still be amazing, even when overshadowed by a mistake like this. All in all, HMX isn't doing this to torture you; they're in a tough spot and I think they handled what happened brilliantly.
Edit: This is coming from a guy who carefully looks over DLC on every instrument, listens to the song for a day or so, and thinks for a half hour or so before making the purchase of a DLC. I've got nearly every amazing song and avoided the bad and even mediocre ones (Roam, Cherry Bomb and Bang a Gong or whatever) with the exception of a few bad charts of songs that I personally love...but that's beside the point. My point is that I know what the hell I'm talking about when it comes to plastic guitar chart quality, and I know how to tell when something is fun without being mainstream or hard, so listen to me, stop bawwwwwing and just pick one of them up. What's the worst you can lose, a snicker's bar on the way to school tomorrow? |
