I'm going to attempt to start an Expert Drum Tournament for good drummers but not exactly "amazing".

*First, let me explain the text in italics:
I'm looking for players that are kind of in the range of my skill level,
I have beaten every single song except for Foreplay/Longtime and Outside,
I've FC'd a couple of songs,
I've got a Gold Star in my setlist here and there, Dani California is my hardest song Golded besides Enter Sandman.

Second, I'll explain the rules:
1. I'm shootin' for 12 people in this, but 8 will work for me if we can't get 12.

2. There are going to be 3 songs per week. (randomized)

3. Songs will be posted on Sundays around 12:00 p.m. (ET)ish (whenever I get back from church, and after I tally the scores.)

4. Scores are due on Saturday at 11:59 p.m. (ET)

5. First round, we'll all play the three songs, and the six people with the lowest scores will be placed in a bracket and the six people with the highest scores will be placed in a seperate bracket.

6. Second round, both brackets will be proceeding at the same time.

7. Third round, will be like the first, the three remaing people will play the songs, lowest scorer is dropped.

8. Fourth round, just like the second round, leaving us with two winners.

9. Placement round, the bracket with the 6 higher scoring players will be labled "A" and the 6 lower scoring players will be labled "B", then they're place # will be given respectively.
1A = 1st Place
2A vs. 1B - Winner = 2nd Place - Loser = 3rd Place
3A vs. 2B - Winner = 4th Place - Loser = 5th Place
4A vs. 3B - Winner = 6th Place - Loser = 7th Place
5A vs. 4B - Winner = 8th Place - Loser = 9th Place
6A vs. 5B - Winner = 10th Place - Loser = 11th Place
6B = 12th Place

10. Scores should be submitted to me through PM, please submit it to me in this form

12. Since none of us should get optimal(see asteric at top), I don't care what system your on, that way I'm not limiting this to PS2.

13. Tourney will start on the next Sunday after we get enough people.

I'd like to try this. Skill wise, I'm about the same as you, maybe a little better though (I've beaten the 2 you haven't). Some songs still stump me though. So yeah, put me down for this

I'll join, it will give me more motivation to become a better drummer. Here's some details about my skill level:

-I have passed every on-disc song on my own except RttH and Outside.
-I 5-starred Ride The Lightning, Shockwave, Foreplay/Longtime and WGFA (sometimes fail on the stupid post solo fills though...).
-I have 2 FCs only.
-I am currently horrid at rolls paired with bass pedal beats.

I guess that covers the important stuff.

Alright, this is starting move along. You two have been added. I've already got the rounds planned out using some randomizer I found on Google.
I'll leave it up to the contestants... do you guys want me to add the three scores together or make an average of it?
I personally vote average.. but I'm leaving up to you guys.

Also... I most likely won't win this... my yellow drum has officially taken a humongous crap on me.. it drops notes about 1/25 ish... but I'll still do this..
