So does anyone else think this is the worst week of DLC for RB? Second being the Pixies album?

Pixies album was wonderful

but the MTV2 pack is probably the worst to date

Because obviously if it's not metal or hard on guitar, it sucks, right?

I didn't actually buy this week's songs, but I give immense kudos to Harmonix for the count-off in Girls on Film. Very clever!

How'd you know? jk, I really liked the Pixies album as well - very nice album for every instrument.

To anyone who doesn't have Get Your Rock On yet:

Q: Do you enjoy music? Do you like rocking out?

If you said 'no' to either of these:
Consider your purchase carefully and examine the content of all instrument charts before making a decision on whether or not to get this song.

If you said 'yes':

GO BUY IT RIGHT NOW WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU IT'S BEEN UP FOR THREE DAYS GOGOGOGOGO

\m/ top tier party/fun DLC imho.

Just a quick remark here, even though the pack came out ten days ago and nobody will ever read it.

While growing up, I abhorred Duran Duran. I have my reasons (which aren't exactly fair to them since it has little to do with their music apart from being grossly overplayed), and never thought I'd be able to coexist with them.

Despite that, I downloaded the songs anyway because I'm a sucker like that. Didn't enjoy the Guitar at all, and felt somewhat vindicated by that - "Hey, Rio's chart is about as enjoyable as jumping in a blender. That's fitting, seeing as how Duran Duran sucks and all."

However, that's the ONLY instrument I didn't enjoy. It's fun to sing, entertaining on drums (although I DO speed fail Girls on Film on Expert as I have no drumming endurance) and the Bassline kicks ass.

So, in the end, Rock Band has made me bridge a gap I never thought I'd be able to. As long as I avoid Guitar, I actually LIKE Duran Duran now. Go figure.

Embrace the Duran I think those who do not necessarily like the band's music would surely get the "party game" value out of having those songs. Always loved Duran Duran's bass line and the vocals are fun and challenging to sing.

Being a girl AND being a child of the 80's I really appreciated that they added songs like this. And I am sure they appreciated my credit card in turn.

Would've liked to sing to "whip it", but still a very good pack anyways.

Extremely fun
