For Guitar Hero 3, there was a page on Best Buy's website that showed which stores were doing midnight releases. Does anything like that exist for Rock Band?

most stores, i believe, base it off of how many people reserved a copy of the game and see if its worth it to open up for a midnight release. If pages arent up yet they probly are waiting for more people to reserve a copy so they have a better idea of what the turnout will be.

More than likely only a few stores will be doing midnight releases for Rock Band. You have to live in a populated area that has a lot of preorders. Otherwise its not worth it for the company to be open at 12:01 and they'll just wait till the next day. Smaller stores like gamestop have a better chance of having a midnight release because the boxs are very big and they are usually small stores so they will want to get them out of there ASAP to have some breathing room. I preordered mine from gamestop and the manager said they probably won't be having a midnight launch. He also said they will only be getting a couple more than the preorder amount.
