i think that might be in the space needle that venue. I went up on the space needle in august and it looked really similar to this except for the whole playing a rock show on it |

Seattle makes enough sense. I mean, it even has a museum of rock there! (IIRC) The Space Needle = perfect venue. |

The video for Tom Sawyer is very interesting. The drummer animations are so good I'd swear they motion-captured Neal Peart or something.
Look at this original video for Tom Sawyer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t3cJGNF1h8
Watch Peart's body while he plays. Then watch the Rock Band video again.
Even notice that in the original video they're also playing in front of open windows. Probably just a coincidence, though.
In any case, the drummer animation is magnificent. |

Paranoid's venue is so awesome.
Black Hole Son's black and white solo was amazing beyond words, as was the singer's stage dive in Suffragette City |

Go to that site, then videos, watch the Tom Sawyer video, and look at the singer. I think we now know what Clive Winston is up to these days =]
Also, The Paranoid cover beats the hell out of the GH3 version _________________

The RttH cover is AMAZING. Best cover I've ever heard of anything in any game.
EDIT: HAHAHAHA THE CROWD MOVEMENTS IN HERE IT GOES AGAIN ARE FUCKING AWESOME.

I think pretty much everything about this game is "fucking awesome" as you put it. I dont know if Guitar Hero 3 will compare once I get my hands on this. Which luckily will be November 20th =D _________________

Its tough for me to play GH3 anymore after looking at the Rockband.com stuff as it seems so bland and boring in comparison. The songs are also wearing old far faster then GH2s did. (Probably because I play online a lot and it seems everyone online recycles the same 25 songs over and over. I swear I've heard Miss Murder over 150 times) _________________

Just what I was thinking. When I saw that solo in Black Hole Sun, I immediately remembered that Pearl Jam video, Alive. That's so damn grunge.
By the way, the whole game looks awesome. Especially the vocalist moshing into the crowd in Suffragette City. Boy oh boy, this game's gonna be a real gas.
Though I lolled at the black metal band playing Run to the Hills, especially the guitarist elbow-dropping on his guitar near the end. _________________
