At least this paranoid cover is better than GH3's... _________________

What's with Here It Goes Again? Does the drummer keep missing or something? Because that doesn't sound like the real drums too much. I think he does because you can see the drummer in the background hammering away while the drums aren't making a sound.
Edit: Whoa, that inverted color scheme in the Paranoid video was pretty sweet. |

Run To The Hills drums don't sound right during the choruses and verses. It should be a galloping beat not just a single tom then symbol. Still, awesome covers. _________________

I figured out why the drums cut out. They obviously have a autoplay option, and it never plays the fills. This is supported by the fact that every time the drums come back, it starts with a cymbal crash. _________________

Wow that Black Hole Sun video was amazing. The special effects during the guitar solo were fucking awesome. The Tom Sawyer arena was hands down my favourite though, those lasers + fog + spotlights were perfect. Gotta love the immersion. |

The Paranoid cover sounds decent, better than the GH3 one. Run to the hills, however, was horrible |

That video for Tom Sawyer is just gorgeous...with the windows behind the band looking out at the city and the lasers lights, its just gorgeous.
November 20th can't come any quicker, I need to freeze myself for 500 years... |
Just thought i'd give you props on the South Park reference, since no one else commented on it! More on topic, this does look amazing, as good as can be expected with the difficulty of the covers. _________________

Since my computer is old and crappy, the videos are unwatchably laggy.
But I can judge the songs!
The Paranoid and Run To The Hills covers are excellent. Tom Sawyer is too (except for the vocals).
I really wish I could check out the sweet lighting effects/venues though. Is there a way to get this on Youtube? _________________

Ace, try clicking the Low button underneath the videos. It'll give you a Low bandwidth version of the vid instead of a high, but I am sure you'll be able to see these elsewhere within a day or so. _________________

Yeah, the low quality button doesn't make it lag any less, unfortunately.
From what I could see of the Tom Sawyer video, the animations for all the band members are incredible. I mean, you can actually see the guitarist bending the strings! _________________

I watched the videos again and I didn't notice the first time that in the Tom Sawyer video those are windows in the background looking out on a city. Thats just too damn cool not to be the best venue we have seen. (Plus the laser lights are awesome) _________________

i am a huge rush fan, and i am very disappointed with the tom sawyer cover. no one but geddy can pull off those high notes. the solo seemed off a bit. drums were actually quite good, terrible singer though. thank god i'll have my terrible voice to sing over top of it. |

What's wrong with you people? The run to the hills cover is fucking awesome, miles better than the trooper cover on GH2. |
