The kind folks at Harmonix sent me a reply to a query I made about the release date for Rock Band on the PS2. Here is the reply I received:

In case you haven't already heard (sorry for the late reply!), the
Playstation 2 version of Rock Band is scheduled to ship December 18.
The bundle is going to cost $159.99, $10 less than its current-gen
counterparts. For the full press release on the Playstation 2 launch,

YES! ROCK BAND IS COMING TO PS2! Besides, this will be the only way I'll be able to play it. Thank you for telling me about this!

With the PS2 release almost a month away you'd think we'd have seen some pics or videos of that version by now. Has anybody come across anything about the PS2 version? I might be stuck getting that one and would like to know if it looks anything like the next-gen versions. Or even better, any news on a Wii version?
