Iron Maiden and Fallout Boy seem to cancel each other out, but Run to the Hills will still kick ass.

Fall Out Boy isn't terrible, just terribly mediocre. It doesn't offend me the way Yes We Can does, for instance.

They're no where near as terrible as Iron Maiden is awesome.

Everyone insulting FOB:This is before they sold out. Unless they have a newer song of the same name. I actually find it shocking that they have an older song and none of their new shit.

Considering the main demographic that most video game developers cater to, I don't think this should come as a surprise. In fact, I'd be stupid not to mention that it is the names like AFI, Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance that will sell extra copies of the game and downloadable content packs, which will in turn allow Activision and RedOctane the ability to bankroll future projects such as...a 60s or 70s encore expansion pack.

Of course it doesn't come as a surprise, but the money they make from including AFI and MCR et al won't be put to including, say, Jethro Tull - it will be put to including more AFI and MCR et al, because it has been demonstrated that that is what sells. That's what's depressing about this whole system.

Highway Star is on this setlist. It's an epic song. You fail, although Guitar Hero does rock.

I don't really care if Fall Out Boy is on the setlist. Ehh... they aren't THAT bad. I won't mind it at all. I mean, the only people who would say this setlist sucks are the thirteen year old kids who hate Fall Out Boy, and who probably have never heard of The Ramones or Deep Purple. Heh. Pathetic. Really pathetic.

This is what Train Kept A-Rollin' might look like if it were GH:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUZ6R9_D6Pg

I hope the RB version is comparable, but honestly, I'm just freakin' euphoric about the fact that it's there. It's like the folks at Rock Band actually read my wish list.

All we need now is a live version of The Pretenders' "My City Was Gone" and I'm golden.

EDIT: Well, okay, and some other stuff. But I can die happy with just that addition.

The track list doesn't look all that great to me. Too easy, not much I can rock out to...

But the DLC fucking rules. I'm buying a 360 for all the stuff they're putting up. Seriously. It's that good.

Wait, if Flirtin' with Disaster was announced as the hardest bass track (if I'm not mistaken) then what the hell did they do to the Run to the Hills cover? The bass in that song is incredible. I love both songs, but come on, it's Steve Harris.

They said it was one of the most challenging and fun.

Don't comlain. Most rythm games coming out now have Souljia Boy and friends. At least we aren't getting any of that type of music until Rock Band 2 or Rap Band.
