Well congrats Gamespy. I hope that absolutely no sluggo clones were harmed during the securing of that victory, or the party afterwards..

Awesome job Sluggo and co! Such a close match!!! I think it kind of proves the balance of the game between instruments... So there is supposed to be an announcement available for the winner... how soon will we see that?

The match was indeed ridiculously close. We had about a dozen people crowded around my desk around 8:30PM last night as Phr34k gave us the results song-by-song, crowded around the largest IRC window in history (I have a 37" monitor), and they all went nuts when we won.

We should have a writeup on the finals later today -- if anyone wants to see the photos of the scores, I believe the BOTB mini-site has been updated.

(it's not listed in the photos, but I played X-guitar on Highway Star and Green Grass, and H-drums on Foreplay and Tom Sawyer.)

Yeah it seemed like you guys rocked it on the guitar songs, but not so much on the drum songs (probably because you had to have someone playing guitar on a lower difficulty, I guess?)
