If someone wants to try it, here's the "ow is our friend" path

3 - skip 2, activate early
3 - Immediate
3 - skip 4

I got 228385 without hitting the OW as much as I have before (got about 65%, which I've gotten as much as 85% before), and it seems like it's potentially better.

This transfers the good squeezing you get from activating before a "what can i dooo" with 3 ODs to the second activation, and if you get more than 75% of the "ow", you get > 3000 + 1000 for the last OD phrase, while is better than the 1-per-OD you'd normal get from the 2nd activation. Then the last one is just 4 phrases with 3 ODs instead of 3 phrases with 2 ODs.

K, that probably sounds confusing. Here's a clearer way:

"Ow Sucks" path:
Activation 1: 3 ODs, 3.5 phrases
Activation 2: 6 ODs, 6 phrases
Activation 3: 2 ODs, 3 phrases

"Ow is good" path:
Activation 1: 5 ODs, 4 phrases + OW + a x1 phrase
Activation 2: 3 ODs, 3.5 phrases
Activation 3: 3 ODs, 4 phrases

(The 3.5s are just guesses, but they're the exact same anyway)

So it seems like its "potentially" better, but I haven't been able to do it perfectly. If anyone else want to try, go ahead.

I'd like to point out that another advantage Mac's path has, aside from the possibility of more points. If you do, for some unknown reason, either through glitch, practice, or just plain luck, hit the ow!, you ALSO FC the song with what is likely the best path. Even if you lose out on a couple 100 points in the short run, magically hitting that Ow would set this path as the one to do for the long haul.

Turns out I calculated some of it wrong, so you'll have to get at least 3300/4000 (82.5%) on the Ow for it to be worth it to use my path.

If you're not trying to get a top 5 score or something, I'd recommend the other path.

i got an awsome on expert but it was in practice
wat i did was say WHOO like the 1s in my sharona but really soft with sensitivity all the way down

now every time i try its always a messy or okay so idk any way to get an awsome most of the time

Try saying the ow sort of low, it worked for me, got an okay.

I managed to get an okay on the ow and took first on medium by 300 points.

anyway, i'm using the xbox headset, but i turned the sensitivity all the way down and said something along the lines of "Hyowwwwww" and it filled up at least 3/4 of the way.

i got the owww just now...... i was pretty excited at first.....i missed later on in the song for no apparent reason, im having suicidal thoughts now, is it impossible to fc the song? cuz if it is ill stop trying lol.

The "Ow" is probably one of the most random phrases there are. I have said a low "oh" for a while and it seems that the phoneme detection gives me a "messy" "weak" or "okay" for the phrase even when i do the same sound at the same time.

as disgusting as this sounds, I say "ow" like oh, as I'm being surprised and aroused at the same time. ugh. However, it's consistent at getting AT LEAST 3/4 of the pie all the time. (on xbox 360!)

people have told me to try using an airhorn with the mic? sounds stupid but im gunnna try that some time lol
