[This path worked for me got me 1st in medium but i didn't use it in easy and got first anyway ]
Get 3 powerups then activate on the phrase AFTER the "i could see you home with me" phrase
Get 3 powerups then activate on the phrase AFTER the "i could see you home with me" phrase
Get 4 powerups then activate on the phrase AFTER the "but you were with another man yeah" phrase
my first place score for medium -- 85,525
enjoy i guess.
EDIT: This is not optimal for easy [this path] and i don't know if the difficulties will make that differ, but i tried this for easy and got a lower score than my first place score...and since all of my songs are sightread [including this one] i didn't really remember what it was. _________________

It only gets fewer points on easy because the percussion notes get more points than the base 200 point phrases in the long run. On medium and above, phrases are almost always better than the percussion. _________________

On that third activation, you should activate after the first set of tambourines, right before the "Oh yeah." Then you'll break 210k, as I did today, when I messed up that activation and discovered the new spot. =P
Funny how we've improved each other's paths by messing up activations! =) |

um....guys i'm a little confused here. maybe i should just go and sing the song to see what you're talking about...but VH's 2nd activation says after the tamborines. then AJ's says that the 3rd activation should be after the first set of tamborines....which is VH's 2nd activation......haha
maybe i'm missing someting. but could one of u explain a little bit. thanks! |

There are a lot of short tamborine sections in this song - just sing it and you'll see what they're talking about. Both of them are right :-) |

As long as you say it
"I said UH are you gonna be my girl?"
there shouldn't be any issues. Don't ignore the "uh," this is one song where the phoneme detector doesn't miss a beat.
EDIT: Fixed incorrect lyric. :P _________________

I am having problem breaking 210k. Where is the one major squeeze in this song that will push you over the edge?
Is it the last activation where you want to get the last phrase in the OD completely so you can break 210k? B/c no matter what I am doing I can't stuck at mid 209k
thx _________________

Does anyone have the optimal for easy? Cuz I know that on the PS2 where the percussion are worth 100 points each that is not optimal... any of you geniuses wanna help me with my dilema? |
