My path:
Activate OD at the first opportunity every time.
There's got to be something better, but that's what got me my 1st place score. *shrug* |

If there's a better path, I haven't found it. _________________

I'm pretty sure it's the way to go, but I don't remember what I did to get my current score. |

Like all the other songs, I'm having trouble with the talky parts in this one. In particular, I can never get better than okay on "cause it knocks you off your feet, ha!", which is important for OD. Any tips on this one? |

Like other songs with talky parts, I find turning down the mic sensitivity helps.
Unlike other songs with talky parts, I find saying the words exactly at the right time works better than saying them early.
Hope that helps. |

also, the words written out are longer than the phrase, so learn the timing and say them during that time, and not when the word lines up with the bar. _________________

Ahhh....I never have trouble with that phrase, and here's why....I say "'cause it knocks you off your feetaaah." I always get an awesome combing feet and ah. IDK if it works for everyone else, but that's the best way I have learned to do it. |

I actually got it once this afternoon after posting, and luckily got enough points from the rest of the song to gold star.
I also FCed Nightmare once but used the wrong path, resulting in no GS. I was unable to get through the talky parts on subsequent tries. |

Is it me, or is the last "It's it" before the guitar solo really hard to hit? I don't know what's up with that phrase. |

I get that too sometimes. Weird. |

The "rubbing mic against pant leg" trick works great for the talky parts in this song. |

I didn't rub out the second half of the song on my FC run because my arm got tired (!?), so I spoke all the "It's it"s. I almost didn't get that last one before the solo, but I really emphasised the last "t" sound, and the pie jumped the rest of the way. |

So you got the FC right? I looked at your score, and it's 1000's better than mine, even though I activated immediately every time...
I didn't even make an attempt to squeeze though...I saw yellow, I screamed right away to prevent from missing activations that kept happening to me if I so much as waited until halfway through the OD activation....and I only got 284k...
Oh well, at least my new mic doesn't have a wobbly arrow like the stock one got recently. Not one bit of shakiness. |

Yeah, I got the FC. I don't really remember the run, though, so I'm not sure how much squeezing helped.
I *did* have the Awesomeness slider all the way up, though. |
