Found a new path tonight.

2/immediate
3/wait 1 activation

I just got 187064 using this path. Gold star cutoff is calculated at 187200. Maybe VH or Bill can squeeze it out.

Interesting, I'll have to try it out when my roommates aren't asleep. The fact that the talkys are easier (at least in my roommate's opinion) may mean that it's easier to squeeze out points from a faster fill of the pie post-patch.

EDIT: Yeesh, I keep missing the second activation. Seems like one of those picky ones that you actually have to trigger before the window starts.

Yeah, I should have warned you about that 2nd activation. I got it a couple of times last night, but as I was replaying it trying to squeeze, I couldn't even get it to activate.

Nice find Rocker. I had actually considered that path, but I could never get the second activation to work. :-p

Thanks, I can't get it to activate now for some reason. I did it last night by turning the mic sensitivity all the way up before I got to that activation, but now nothing seems to work on it.

Argh, I managed to get it to activate once and then I screwed up on the talky parts. Now I can't seem to get it again.

Yeah, I got the activation super easy the first time I tried it. Now, doing the exact same thing or anything else, I can't get it to go. (I messed up on the talkies my first try. It almost seems like instead of the first couple lines being harder, there's one in the middle that's harder : / )

I can never get the full ending on this song, it makes it hard to test alternate pathing effectively :-p Speaking of which, Is it possible that doing the last activation at the last possible time is better (after the first two pairs of repetitive talking lines)?

aye, that new path is what i did to get the extra 60 poitns. But i've done close to 200 plus with that path (only had i not mess up the talking part).

there's also another thing I wonder if any one can look into:

if you don't activate right after the long talking part start, you will have 2 more chances at first to activate each time after line. However, if you skip all of that , you will eventually get another activiation chance right before the last two lines (which takes up 1/2 of the OD meter).

With 8 OD line, is it possible to actually use up the first 6 before the talking parts and save the last two for the last? I've been at it for the last two weeks and I so want to find that extra bonus line for us to squeeze to a possible GS.

Just doesnt make sense that HMX would leave 3 songs out of GS status


EDIT: That is gotta be the path, b/c that means you get 2 OD meter before you enter the ending. So going to try that tomorrow morning.

I'm not sure that would work. I thought I tried all the paths in this song except the new "optimal" path, because the activation is a pain. Though I have been wrong before.

was trying to activiate and i got like 3/10 times however I messed up all 3 times in the talkin' part I did manage to up my score by a meager 4 pts lol.

anyway, Rocker, so you basically pull off about addition 1k from squeezing into the 2nd talking phrase? (at exactly where did your OD ran out in the 2nd phrase?) The three times I was doing it I think the most I got was like 700 or so. I smell either a fast pie filling skill or glitch here for a possible 2k worth :P
