I got 71,456 and the higher scores are probably just better squeezed:

2/First opportunity (measure 31, between the two "wa-a-a-a-ave"s)
2/Immediate (measure 55, after "a wa-a-a-a-ave")

Yeah, this path is right. I just got a new high score, but it was in Score Duel and I didn't take a picture. >.<
