Is the yellow shaded part where you activate, or the part where you can freely sing? _________________

I couldn't tell but it didn't look like you put in the best spots TO activate. I imagine most pathes are activate as soon as you get half a meter but surely some will be best to wait.
So from someone who can actually sing (you not me), where are the best spots to actiually activate. I got the "activate toward the end of the yellow as close to the next phrase as possible" part. _________________

This is mainly just something for someone to work with. It's not an optimal OD usage chart, it's a guideline for you to make your own optimal chart. What he is doing is showing you where the "free sing", or activation areas, are, and you're supposed to determine, from that, where would be the best places to activate.
It is a very awesome chart, if I may say so myself, and it will definitely come in handy. Thanks again Ridge. _________________

Yeah I gets it. And the chart is kinda handy. For the most part any blank space big enough between phrases will get the yellow activate part. So OK no one is putting out best pathes yet. I was just wanting to get ball rolling thing. With vocal and drum activations in "predetermined locations" and fixed lengthes I figured once the path terminology is set, teh charting won't have to be as fancy as the guitar pathes. But I'll work on my own when my voice returns. _________________

I'm terrible at this song... I can't sing low. I have to bring it UP an octave and it sounds aweful. Its so sad I have lots of goldstars in the later venues but I can't 5star this or Say it Aint So |

Well, Unless I'm completely retarded (which I doubt), the best path is 3-3-2, with all activations right away.
Of course, everyone already knows this, based on the scores, but just trying to be helpful. _________________

You guys that got more than 294,776, are you using a better path, or just squeezing more out of the current one. I've played this one a bunch of times and tried to squeeze out as much as I can, and it seems like that score is the max for the 3/3/2 path. |

I'm pretty sure that's the path I use. Keep in mind when trying to squeeze that because the song scrolls much more slowly than most others, it's possible to activate much later if you're judging when to activate by the position of the edge of the yellow activation section. |

Yeah, I just did this one last night. 3-3-2 is definitely the path to get more than 294,776. Mostly, squeezes are necessary for the first and second activation.
Edit: I can type. _________________
