... and if you miss multiple phrases, they might not lose you 6000 points each - if they were consecutive, they lost you about 9000 total.
If the phrase was the first phrase in the song, it only lost you 3000 points. If it was the last phrase in the song, it might have barely had an effect on your score if you were close to getting awesome on it. |

I'm confused on the 4-2-3. Does this mean gain 4 OD's then actiavte at given time, or skip 4 OD activation sections then activate... |

The numbers are the number of OD phrases you accumulate before activating. In this case, all activations are immediate after getting that many OD phrases. In a longer notation, it would look like this:
4/immediate
2/imm
3/imm
Where the number is the number of accumulated OD phrases, and everything after the slash is instructions about when to activate. |

The four would mean to gain 4 overdrive paths (get a full bar basically), then the note says to actually activate it before the phrase "The bottle is ready to blow"
Then gain two paths (half bar), and activate before second "Say it ain't so" in the second chorus, then gain 3 (3/4 of a bar) and activate after the percussion part.
Edit:

Alright. Just making sure since I have seen paths where the number is how many places you skip over.
Thanks. |

Just like to chime in here - AJay's actual path for this song is:
4/imm
2/skip 1
3/next opportunity |

New path:
3/, 2/sk1, 3/AT
Basically, the difference is with 3/, you get the full value of the phrases in OD rather than the -150 to -250ish that you get with the 4/ path. |

you activate the Star Power for this song as follows:
1 - After you have 3/4 of your OD meter filled, activate on the very first chance you have.
2 - After you have 1/2 of your OD meter filled, activate before the 2nd "say it ain't so" phrase in the 2nd chorus
3 - After you have 3/4 of your OD meter filled, activate right after all the tamberines are done (right before the "say it ain't so" phrase in the last chorus) _________________

Look at the poster directly above you. They explain clearly how and when to activate. _________________
