If you are going to let a great game such as this slip by because you feel it doesn't tend to your needs then that is very sad. It may have fallout boy but it has plenty of great music to make up for it (Tom Sawyer and Run to the Hills). Have you tried the game yet? If not then at least have the decency to try the game before you deem it unworthy of your time.

I thought the set list was a joke too until I played the demo. That's when I realized that the game isn't about hardcore metal songs that takes days or weeks of practice to pass. It is about getting three other friends together and acting ridiculous while enjoying yourself. Having the occasional laugh at the singer and so forth. If you have tried the game in it's entirety then good, but we don't need someone telling us everyday why he doesn't want the game for some petty reason that can be very easily overlooked.

P.S. In my humble opinion.

TC, I really feel for you man.

I mean I was going to get this game before I looked at the setlist and said, "wait most of these songs are extremley fun sounding and varied and not from an extremeley overused genre... thats it Im not getting it!"

You can always add more metal to your version of RB through DLC. There is enough metal represented in the standard package to not alienate the normal consumer. I know its hard to believe but most people don't like metal or atleast the metal your probably speaking of.

I think it's funny that you think everyone likes metal. There are a lot of music genres, and RB needs to appeal to a wide range. It's called ROCK Band, not METAL Band.

Theres really not much metal you can play with only 1 foot.

unless they plan on allowing you to miss kick beats on expert...(which would be crap), they really have to stay away from almost all forms of metal...

and nobody better say that they would be ok with not having to play all the double kick beats on expert... cuz people would call guitar hero GAY if you didnt "play" every note on expert...

I'm sick of all these people trying to say that they can't have metal cause of the lack of 2nd bass pedal. The drums may be a realistic portrayal of drums but don't be ridiculous.

There 3 awesome metal songs right out of the box Enter Sandman, Run to the Hills, and Highway Star! Plus Metallica DLC.
