Pretty cool that we can pre-order it now. But where is the PS3 option? |
I guess they won't release a date for the PS3 drums until we know the date for RB2 comes out for the PS3. All I know is that I better start saving up now

| I can't believe they are putting Panic Attack by Dream Theater on RB2, does anyone realize how ridiculously hard that song is? if you've never heard the song check it out on youtube, I can't possibly fathom the drums on RB, it's gonna be intense! |

$300 drum kit, eh? I might consider saving up my birthday money to buy RB2 and the drum kit, depending on the reviews when the kit has shipped. I wouldn't mind having an electronic kit to lrn2rldrum, plus since this is made to work with RB and RB2, I wouldn't have to worry about fucking up an expensive set by modding it myself.
Of course, if it turns out to be a piece of crap, that changes everything.

I wouldn't be so sure. Guitars sound at least tier 6, vox don't sound too hard, but a playtester said it themselves that it's the hardest song for drums in either game + DLC to date.
EDIT: Panic Attack is what I'm talking about. |

| The only instrument that sounds easy for Panic Attack is vox. The bass intro and guitar solo alone will mean it'll be tier 9 for those instruments. Never mind the rest of the song... |

It has been stated in an interview that other systems will not have to wait long after the 360 release for the game to be released on other systems. Can't remember which one I read that from though. I'm sure somebody will pull it up.

A: This benefits both gamers and Harmonix. Microsoft have been awesome in supporting us and have actually helped out on some of these things by visiting us and working hand-in-hand on new platform features. They've been a great partner on everything from development to marketing, and some of the features in the game would not have been possible without them.
As well as this, the other platforms are coming out really soon after the Xbox 360 launch. Trust me, if you're an other platform owner, you'll be surprised at how little you have to wait. |
