Here's the track-list:
Tom Sawyer (Original Version)
Red Barchetta
YYZ
Limelight (Original Version)
The Camera Eye
Witch Hunt
Vital Signs
The album, which is comprised entirely of original master recordings, will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms and will cost $10.99 (880 Microsoft Points) for the full album, or $2 (160 MSP) for the individual tracks.

How will the instrumental work?
From Official Forums
hmxspraynwipe wrote: | One of the secret features that we introduced in the Music Store patch was the ability to play "instrumental" songs. This means that the song itself doesn't have a vocal part, but does have all the other parts.
What does that mean for you? Well, it means you can't play YYZ as a vocalist because there's no vocal part. There's no leaderboards for Solo Vocal YYZ, no difficulty slot for it for vocals (in RB2, the notches disappear and it says "No Part"), and if you try and play YYZ as a vocalist it'll remind you that this is an instrumental track.
Hope that clears things up! |

Elliott is going to hate this, but who needs his opinion anyway?
Moving Pictures for Rock Band = God does exist and loves me, but not enough because Offspring isn't out yet. _________________

Absolutely fucking awesome.
So now that they'll be releasing Limelight and Tom Sawyer as masters, it's possible we could get some more Vault Editions (or maybe even some rerecorded tracks).
Depending on what the problem was with Limelight/Tom Sawyer in the first place, the entire album might be rerecorded or Vault Edition.
MORE RUSH IS AWESOME RUSH.

sick, awesome album and our first instrumental, but will Limelight be moved to be included with the Album pack, or will you have to buy the album and Limelight seperately?
EDIT: oh, theyre masters, now lets hope that Tom Sawyer is free _________________

Yay for instrumentals I read a lot of the debates between whether or not instrumentals should be in Rock Band but I'm so glad they are plus Red Barchetta and the rest of the album. This will be the first really good drumming and bassist album to come out. I'm so glad they are putting a Rush album. Now if we can get La Villa Strangiato I will seriously be a happy Rock Band player. |

I'm going to say that I hope that HMX is tricking us with this ad.
And that we are actually getting Permanent Waves.
I would definitely buy Moving Pictures, but I'd prefer an album with songs I don't currently own. _________________
