Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 04/26/2018. There was very little action, and I just saw sjay's post right now. The change that did happen to guitar was from malkierking, whom managed a massive gain of 419,137 points on the Expert Import column. Not only does this put 1st place out of reach of virtually anyone else, it means he is now less than 100k from the community total, a truly massive accomplishment for Expert. All hail your new malkierking. Perhaps next time, sjay or someone else will give us more to cheer about.

There were no changes to the RB Guitar leaderboards this week,  . I did look into the issue with sjay's scores not showing up even though he is posting new, better scores in RB, on the PS4. Let's take a look at this picture for a better explanation:

So, what we are looking at here is the raw data table. In this case, sjay is my user number 186 (I started with DrSham's initial alphabetical list then added other users I found manually), and his user number means absolutely nothing except that it puts him into row 187. Across the top you can see the headers. We see RB1 PS2 .... RB14 PS4. How these work, are I pulled the data for a user's total for a given game in a given engine. This is the just the first chunk of the table for RB1. For an example, column N represents RB1 done as an import into RB2 on the PS3. Yes, I really have a column for every possible engine + system + game/import. That being said, let's look at the real issue. We see that in our case on row 187 we have the following:
6 million or so points on RB1 360, 4.7 on RB12 360, 4.75 on RB13 360 and 96,658 on RB14 PS4. In other words sjay's highest RB1 total is on RB1 360 so he gets that as his total. It only counts full games, not individual songs.
Making a spreadsheet that would compare every single song on each possible engine is pure madness, and is avoided on the GH side with the simple All system choice, but does not exist on the RB side. So, for simplicity's sake I made three columns on the first page, the first looks at on disk, the second on disk and import of the core games, and the third includes the second column plus AC/DC, RBB and RB4. We reference a reference point variable, column A, then take the maximum score for a given game for just the on disk scores. That equation looks like this:
=A187+((MAX(I187:K187))+(MAX(S187:V187))+MAX(AB187:AD187)+MAX(AE187:AG187)+MAX(AN187:AP187)+MAX(AX187:AZ187))
So, for this first equation Where I thru K is RB1 on disk , S thru V is RB2 on disk, AB thru AD is TBRB, AE thru AG is LRB, AN thru AP is GDRB, and AX thru AZ is RB3. Then we have the next equation for the second column, which includes all the imports and compares them for max score:
=A187+((MAX(I187:R187))+(MAX(S187:AA187))+MAX(AB187:AD187)+MAX(AE187:AM187)+MAX(AN187:AW187)+MAX(AX187:BB187))
Where I thru R is RB1, S thru AA is RB2, AB thru AD is TBRB, AE thru AM is LRB, AN thru AW is GDRB, and AX thru BB is RB3. This is fine for the first two columns, but does not include AC/DC, RB4, or RB Blitz. For that we have the third column, which adds the second equation, from the E cell to the following:
=E187+MAX(BC187:BD187)+MAX(BE187:BI187)+MAX(BJ187:BS187)
For this case, we take the first column and add in AC/DC, RB4, and RBB respectively.
Now, I explained before the issue with not all RB1 songs being exportable, or for the fact that Wii has more songs on RB1 due to not having DLC and getting 5 free songs. Basically, I don't have all 600+ songs as their own set of column as that would make me literally have 4000+ columns to do maxes from. So, for your RB scores to matter on a new system, your total on that system has to exceed all your other totals for a given game. I hope that clears things up.
;tldr = your total on RB4 in imports is less than your on disc/import on a different system.

I finally golded Dream Genie last night for anoher 20k, so it isnt like Im not trying. This is my first week off class in a while so Ive been playing a little lately; maybe thatll make your updates feel better!

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 05/29/2018, enjoy. Due to seismic score changes from one user, most people went up a rank, other than that, we had changes to Expert this time around. As he posted earlier, the change was by malkieriking, whom added 1,719 to the middle column, and 21k to the Expert Grand Total. Honestly, Dream Genie just looks like a mess to my eyes (and ears), not sure how anyone can 5/6 star it let alone FC it. That was it for this update, lets hope for more action next time.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 06/19/2018, enjoy. We had very little change this month, the only change happened on Expert. For Expert guitar we had malkierking add a total of 103,537 points, further solidifying his lead to nearly a full million points. That is it this update, until next time.

No changes to the first two columns, there may have been changes to the last columns, but it is a lot harder to see that due to having to manually compare them. The pictures are current though.

The only change this week was that on Expert malkierking added 10 whole points in the middle column. I didn't bother to update the picture to match, but there you go, made the update worth it.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 09/10/2018, enjoy. Things were very quiet yet again, with the only change on Hard Guitar this time. We had gwpom add 467,142 points, and gain a ranking spot, pretty nice work there. Let's hope for any more changes next time.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 09/25/2018, enjoy. Great news, we had changes two updates in a row, with sjay doing the honors with 648,648 points on the import column, nice work. This was actually enough to move him up 3 spots, despite the arrows not loading properly. Let's hope for more action next time.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 10/09/2018, enjoy. It was a very quiet update, but we got a big surprise! The only action this week was from the one and only arvain! He got 503,727 points on disc for Easy, and an additional 500k for the Easy Import column. Very cool, I think all that action was on RB3 for Xbox, so he has a lot more scores to go. Great surprise, lets hope for any action again next update.

Cabanon added 64,697 points, starting out his journey on RB2, and arvain showed up with 209,089 points and exactly twice that on the import total. Pretty good week all around, I will give the nod to arvain for proving he is still alive! Welcome back arvain.

Leaderboards are up to date, for today, 11/07/2018, enjoy. Good news! with Cabanon's recent interest in the RB side, there will likely be exciting updates for the near future. Starting out on Easy, it was Cabanon, whom went straight to the discs themselves to gain a massive 1,195,384 points, closing in fast to the 10 million + club. Next, for Hard, we saw Cabanon again, this time launching himself onto the board with a debut of 18,747,542 points or 19,604,018 if you go with the imports (note he didn't get all these points this week, its just that he got enough to hit the top 50 this time). Finally, over on Expert, we had Kyl3Ruth come back to play long enough to add 533 points, congrats to him. If you hadn't guessed it already, Cabanon gets the nod for the update, and likely the next few if my calculations are correct. Future updates will hopefully see more people than Cabanon add scores, but if not, that's more than enough to run the boards. Enjoy.

i cant believe im on the hard board. I cracked the 10mil mark on RB2 Hard Guitar today by finally passing Visions ! otherwise, some path are easy are simply madness and barely doable for me. also add that I simply suck monkeys balls with Big Rock Ending, it makes gettting 1st alot more difficult than it should.
how to maximize BRE ?
