This week has tons of variety with releases from Bucker & Garcia, Iwrestledabearonce, and Psychostick!

"Pac-Man Fever" comes from novelty rock duo Buckner & Garcia, who saw major success from their video game-themed hit single in 1981. The song charted on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and Canada RPM as well as reaching gold status by the RIAA for selling 1.2 million records by the end of 1982. "Pac-Man Fever" is the title track and intro for the duos first album in which every song is named after or about a classic '80s arcade game. The tune features lyrics that heavily refer to the timeless video game making for a great karaoke track, while the guitars quick chord changes and dynamic solo will keep any guitarist on their toes.

Iwrestledabearonces "Tastes Like Kevin Bacon" is featured on the groups debut album Its All Happening. The project is primarily metalcore but spontaneously incorporates other genres into songs like electro-disco and jazz-prog, to which "Tastes Like Kevin Bacon" is no exception. The beginning of the track effortlessly slips in a taste of electronica before singer Krysta Cameron croons throughout the bulk of the tune. The outro is brought in by both a harp and car horn sample which perfectly exemplifies Iwrestledabearonces quirky sense of humor. The song is constantly switching directions where each section sounds like a new song on its own, requiring the upmost focus from each band member. The flurry of hammer-ons will test guitarists speed while the screamo vocals test the singers breath control. Drummers can look forward to tricky rhythms and heavy use of the bass pedal.

"Beer!" is one of the most successful songs from comedy rock group Psychostick. Receiving a majority of its fame through the internet, the music video for "Beer!" became an early hit for YouTube putting Psychostick and their first album We Couldnt Think of a Title on the map. The project charted on both the Billboard Top Heatseekers and Top Independent Albums lists in 2006. Singing the lyrics for the track is sure to get a laugh out of your audience and band members, but dont let that fool you as the hard-hitting guitar, bass, and drums are heavily influenced by metal and hardcore punk. Beer! is for the heavy rockers looking to headbang, as well anyone who wants a good laugh from a piece of music.
