This week, tracks from The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey and Sia ft. Sean Paul will come to the Rock Band Music Library.

Closer, from The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey, joins the Rock Band Library this week as Rock Band DLC. It has so far spent 10 weeks at the top of the charts, being the best selling, most streamed, and the most radio played song of the year. In a unique twist, the entire bass chart is made up of chords. Its rare to find even one chord on Rock Band bass, so this will definitely feel different. The vocals are a duet spanning close to four octaves, but the jumps are never unreasonable, so you can still feel comfortable tackling it.

Cheap Thrills by Sia ft. Sean Paul comes to Rock Band this week as well. The first Billboard #1 hit from Sia, it also brought Sean Paul his first #1 since 2006 A worldwide hit, it also peaked in Canada, Germany, and France, while offering a strong performance in the UK. Drummers have a syncopated rhythm to look forward to, and the vocals are exactly what you should expect from Sia. The harmonies are dense, and Sean Pauls rapping is pitched, so good luck.

As if you needed more reason to pick up these tracks, they both apply to the new Weekly Challenge, Songs in the Key of C, so if you feel like expanding your options for the week, weve got you C-overed. Or something.

You might notice this is not our usual DLC announcement method. This week has featured songs being released on Tuesday and now on Thursday. We are rolling over to a new method more in-line with Rock Band Rivals Challenges, meaning (from now on) DLC will regularly release on Thursday, with Tuesday announcements. The week of 10/31 will look like this, with staggered releases twice over the week. After that, Thursday will be the singular release day for new Rock Band DLC, with consideration for approaching holidays such as Thanksgiving.
