Guess I should update this now that I'm home. I actually took first in the Brutal Mode competition! It was a blast to be at Harmonix HQ and participate in this event. Everyone I played with was super awesome. The Harmonix Community team were cool, and overall just a fantastic experience. 1st place took home all this shit:

A Penny Arcade Rock Band 4 guitar
A Rock Band 4 skinned Playstation 4
Free Rock Band 4 DLC for all of 2016
$1000

That's some nice stuff.
