Does anyone have a recommendation for re-sticking the whammy so it doesn't fall down after being rotated for years? I've tried the method of wrapping plastic tape around the bottom but it doesnt take long before that gets worn.

I wonder if there's a gum or syrup of some kind that could be applied..anyone try anything?
