|
|
Five years after the last major franchise release, Rock Band 4 is now officially launched for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and ScoreHero score-tracking is available for all solo instrument and band combinations!
There are a few new playing styles which involve freestyle guitar solos and dynamic drum fills which both carry scoring bonuses. It's my understanding that top scores will still only be achievable playing the scripted charts, so there's currently no distinction on the SH leaderboards and you are free to play and submit scores however you choose.
However, due to Overdrive and multipliers carrying over between songs in Show and Tour mode we will only be supporting scores obtained in Quickplay. I've added a notice on the Insert Score form as a reminder.
With few exceptions, all existing official DLC purchases are carried forward and compatible with RB4. There are still some kinks being worked out with the store and several songs, so I'll be holding off on adding RB4 DLC for score-tracking for a bit longer until the dust is more settled.
Let me know if there are any problems, and enjoy! _________________

I noticed this from some other games. Easy fix is to just restart the song once it loads. Everything should be cleared out for a clean run applicable for the scores here. _________________

That's a good question... If we restart the song clearing out streaks and overdrive, can we submit from show and tour mode? _________________

I'm thrilled... for the new incarnation of the game... and that ScoreHero is still around to be part of it all. This site is part of the reason I have loved this (these) games so much, and as a web designer myself, I can't give kudos enough to all the work that goes into this. A toast of Scotch to you my friend, for all these years of enjoyment!
Now if I could only score good...... |

Damn, I thought we would never be back. I'm so glad with GH/RB comeback, takes me back to the good ol' times. Looking forward to remember some old folks as well as meeting new ones. Welcome back, everyone! The show must go on! Every good gig deserves an encore! <that should've been RB4 or GHL slogan, but that's ok _________________

Could you also add the option for having score tracking for Pro Drums and Harmonies? And are we able to submit scores for Freestyle Vocals or are those not valid scores? _________________

All of my scores are with freestyle vox. The scoring doesn't seem to be different like it probably is with guitar, but I'll follow what others have to say on the subject. _________________
