I think a FC should only count if you switched off Freestyle Solos. |
This is pretty much like the whole bootlegging drums topic. I would say that FCing a song with freestyle guitar solos on would count, but just be frowned upon. Much like bootleg FCs on drums.
Besides, in the end its the score that matters and I'm almost 100% positive that having freestyle solos on will net a much lower score than having the normal solo chart. |

The bigger issue is that you're also literally not hitting all the notes. Your streak will inherently not be that of the full chart with authored solos.
Not exactly a full combo there.

Oh sure I'll noodle for a bit. But I can imagine one day I'll turn them off and they will stay off. As someone who also plays realtar, when I want to express myself I'll put the controller down and jam. Right now what I really want from HMX is some serious rhythm game action.

Sorry if I repeat anything already said:
-Trill lanes are MUCH better. At least they were at the time. Played metropolis tar and was sucking hard but hit every single trill lane.
-Roll lanes I'm not sure about. Missed every single one but I might have been affected by cal a bit
-Black souls(?) is obv hard but so are many RBN songs on drums
-Surprisingly the majority of people who played FS solos sounded ok, a LOT better than what we have heard in the past. Maybe they didn't hit as much.
Will add anything else later on. Recorded some X stuff

(Pretty sure only drums is X. I played X Bass and it didn't look like that.)

I'm mostly surprised there were two guitar highways. I heard another Lightning Bolt song today where you could split it into guitar and bass because of overdubs, so I'm sure there would be more besides, but I didn't think Dream Genie was one.

Crap, now begins the time where I have to willfully ignore peoples' videos so that the charts aren't "spoiled" for me.
Not that I have to do this, but I've done it for all the other games.
This also excludes official Harmonix videos, which are just short clips of popular songs and I'm totally fine watching those. |

It won't be, but maybe it will also show a different streak than the authored solos like drum FCs do? So you can obviously tell who cheesed the FC and who FC'd the solos.

I thought the gems were looking better but after seeing that Dream Genie video, I still think they're pretty hard to read when they're close together. Maybe it's just an issue with the camera resolution, but it doesn't look great. :/
Chart looks fun tho

They are hard to read, but the guy on the right is playing easy I believe
