Hi everyone, long time since I've been here. The past few months I've been getting interested in playing rhythm games again, I like rocksmith, but I still want to play a game and not real guitar sometimes. Unfortunately none of my controllers work, I have two les pauls (both drop notes, and green doesn't work on either one thanks to the neck not connecting fully) an xplorer (wire got chewed by something), GH5 guitar just stopped working, and I have a Rock Band 1 guitar that also hasn't worked since I got it. This is the main reason I stopped playing, but now I want to play again and I have no guitars, does anyone know anywhere to get one that wont cost a few hundred dollars, or are there any new tricks for the les pauls that can work?
Thank you, _________________

The 5Tar, WTar, and GH:WoR Guitars are the most durable. I'm surprised yours just stopped working, I wonder why.
Anyway your best bet is to troll ebay. A lot of them are listed expensive, but cheaper ones can show up for $30-40. Best way is to set a saved search so ebay will email you each morning with new listings, then jump on a good one. _________________

A GH5tar that "just stopped working"? That's really unlucky, I know loads of people who've been using one forever, myself included. Try syncing it again, double-check the release lever on the back, take the batteries out, and re-attach the neck.
The WoRtar is probably the most durable, but harder to fix than the 5/WTar. I 100% agree with Singemfrc's recommendations.
I've found some hardly used and inexpensive stuff on Craigslist, but eBay is a sure thing. |
