I FC'ed Here It Goes Again on Expert Drums today and I went to look at the rankings of the song, and how come everybody has a different note streak? Not just HIGA in particular, but every song, basically. |

different OD paths cover up different fills, and that changes the total notes that you play for the song depending on which fills you skip
also, squeezing changes your note streak, since you can hit the notes that are covered up by the OD section when you hit the note to activate OD
i'm sure there are plenty of other threads that talk about this in the drum TSG section, so you can search through old threads if you want to find out more about it _________________

Front End Squeezing has not existed since GD:RB. The only thing affecting streaks is the path. _________________

the song he mentioned was from RB1, so i wasn't sure if he was playing an import in RB3 or on an older game, but yeah, this is worth noting _________________

This is still end squeezing, though, right? Except I don't think that comes into play on Here It Goes Again. _________________

End squeezing does exist in RB3 in the form of double squeezes, but it only applies in certain situations and it doesn't have any alternative effects on the streak in any way. _________________

Not that that would affect streaks. _________________

Yes I am aware it doesn't affect the streak, I just honestly wasn't sure and wanted to ask since squeezing was brought up. _________________
