Hall & Oates is one of those bands where depending on where you were or how you were exposed to them, you can be totally gung ho about some tracks but completely oblivious about others. "I Can't Go For That" rings no bells for me, but I love the other two tracks, and can rattle off a handful of other songs I'd like to see by them - "Rich Girl"! "Sara Smile"! "You Make My Dreams"! - that probably omit some songs others would deem can't-miss classics. These things happen!

Anyway, totally stoked to see these coming to Rock Band. Not a doubt in my mind that they're going to be absorbed into the Songs That Get Busted Out At Every Party roster of tracks.

This is a good description. My wife knew their earlier work, and I knew their later work, so when buying CDs, we found a good greatest hits mix with a ton of both, and it worked out well.

I'm snagging the pack, the wife will enjoy it, and it'll probably be a hit at parties. Maybe I should rock the 'stache for my party next weekend...

Gonna have to agree with all of this. We have a twice weekly Rock Band Night down here in San Diego at a local bar and the instant we heard Hall and Oates was coming pretty much the entire bar hit up the jukebox and started listing off songs they wanted. I definitely would have preferred You Make My Dreams, but this pack is definitely great.

"Private Eyes" is an "OH SHIT" moment for me, and just how much I loved the other two songs despite not knowing them, is making this an insta-buy. But I see why some people are irritated they don't have other songs and this is only a 3-Song Week

Seriously though, why the bitching? THEY SAID they were going to release Hall and Oates, and honestly, worse than XXXX despite not knowing them and because old people enjoy them? Grow up.

I admit, I've never heard of them (and if my mom or grandparents ever knew of them, I don't think I really listened if they had their albums and played them). Sounds like they'd be a blast to sing, though.
