An FC, and a quite complicated path:
2(+1): 8th chord after glissando
2: 12th chord
1: 7th chord
2: 4th three-note chord
2: 10th chord
2: 4th two-note chord after the next set of three-note chords
3: Next chord
2: 10th chord
1: 1st two-note octave
It also helps that the song is rockin', which made it fun to grind

All right, time for the final showdown! I'm not expecting to have much of a chance though, as BoRhap should be quite FCable by both of us and Voltgloss has been scarily efficient with pathing all through the league. I'll grind it out anyway and see what happens, who knows? At least this time I won't be able to spy on my opponent's progress on XBL scoreboards 
I have to admit I got lucky with SNAFF being chosen for the semifinals, as it is one of my favourite songs in the game on pro keys and thus I had already played it so often that I was able to FC it on Sunday and concentrate on OMB league playoffs after that. With China Grove, I had to keep grinding until the last evening and I still had to settle for an overhit run. It's been a lot of fun and I have been achieving FCs I would never have expected, so you can count me in if someone decides to arrange an unofficial DLC league. |

Count me in for an unofficial DLC league later. I have ended up downloading quite a few Keys songs, and I'll probably continue to do so. I get bored with the on-disc songs very quickly!
Also, I'm going to try for a BoRap FC just for fun while you guys grind away for the top spot. Good luck!

Good luck to the two finalists, you both very much deserve to be there.
I just wanted to say that this league has been tons of fun, and has improved my keys skills at the same time.
I would also be interested in joining an unofficial dlc league if one was created

Thanks, viukkis. I can see you must have been pathing really well to get that high a score even with an overhit. Also, it took me MUCH longer than I originally anticipated to get the FC - as you mention, there are a lot of slight variations scattered throughout the song that make it deceptively difficult. (The end in particular is aggravating in that - as far as I can tell - some of the notes are charted to "straight" eighth beats, but the audio track is NOT played in a straight rhythm. Threw me off to no end.)
Hope to see you over in the unofficial league! And hope to see all participants who are interested there as well. This was a really fun league that I hope inspired all players in it to improve on the keys - I know it certainly did for me!

Very nicely done Voltgloss. Right from the get-go, you were the rabbit I kept trying to chase, and that gave me a huge push. I would completely be down for a DLC league if not for the fact that I am sorely lacking in keys DLC, but I will slowly but surely be expanding my keys library.
