Well, I can hit most charted rolls in RB3. I can't, however, easily keep my combo after hitting these rolls. I always seem to overhit.
Can someone explain the mechanics of rolls to me? Does anyone actually know them yet? Anyone have the same problem? _________________

Precisely. Also, if there's a bass note at the end, it should be hit on time and without the rolled pad note. So in the first green roll of Foolin' start early, end right before the , and hit that last note as just . _________________

Alternatively, If you've ever played GH drums, imagine they're sustains instead of separated notes. Most people overhit because they expect the last note in the roll to have a full timing window, but it seems like the timing window ends when the lane ends. They may feel broken at times, but it seems like a failure in notation more than mechanics. _________________
