Because I want it, and my scores, gone.
So if I have to curse at the admins or post porn on here or something, just lemme know. _________________

Uh, why would you want that? I don't see you as being a terrible person.
More so on topic, you should PM a mod, posting porn would be freakin' funny, but meh, it's really your choice. I wouldn't endorse posting porn on these forums. _________________

Well, you could delete all your scores, though you're not supposed to do that unless there's an actual problem with them (typo or whatever).
Why does your account need to be deleted? Just clear your profile and don't log in anymore. No one from SH will ever bother you or be annoyed if you stop posting scores. If you don't come here, then what does it matter if you had scores posted? _________________

I'm reading these two replies, and all I'm seeing is "spam the board with porn, because we don't know".

Oh shit. What are they going to do if I delete my scores? Get back at me by deleting my account (and scores)? And I'm really not sure that's a rule; can you show me where the TOS says "you're not supposed to delete your scores" plz? _________________

I remember Deathsketch asked a mod for an account deletion and got it within a day. So don't say I don't know.

I think that the reason it says not to delete scores isn't so much because it's against the rules.. But to further try to avoid confusion that some users might have concerning the deleting scores for the need to make room for more. I don't think that there is any reason why you couldn't delete scores (it could cause some confusion if it were among the top places, however, but this is a very unlikely situation).
I would say actually it couldn't be THAT bad. If they really didn't want you deleting scores for some significant reason that isn't so obvious, perhaps they would have limited it to only being able to EDIT scores? _________________

You can't, quite simply. I don't think the mods/admins have ever really let you delete accounts, or let you message them asking to delete them. Just ignore the website forever and get on with whatever you're doing, really. _________________

I suspect the reason it says not to delete your scores unless there's an error is simply to preserve leaderboard history and integrity. I seriously doubt you'd actually be punished for deleting scores, but as you pointed out, the only thing they could really do is ban you, which is kinda what you want, so unofficially if you want to delete your scores, go for it.
As far as deleting your account, like people have pointed out there's really no point to doing that. In fact the only reason this would normally come up is if someone stole a user's account and wanted to erase their data for malicious reasons.
In any case there's no easy way of doing it, JC would have to do it manually, so I would suggest PMing him. (And unless he's programmed it to do so, I don't think deleting your account will automatically delete your scores) _________________

There is currently no way to delete accounts without causing a lot of database inconsistencies, which is the reason it's not allowed. We do also like to keep history to look back on our old scores and improvement over time, which is why scores/accounts don't expire over time.
The posted screenshot by dudextr is in no way implying that it's against a rule to delete your own scores, it's simply a notification to let people know they don't need to delete their own scores in order to make room for new submissions (hence the big bold sentence after the circled part). You're certainly within your rights to delete your own scores for any (or no) reason whatsoever.
As others have said, the easiest thing to do is to simply stop using the site; or if you wish, to delete your own scores that you want to be gone. If you absolutely insist you would go to extremes to have the account removed, there's no need to do that, just let me know and we can ban your access. Doing anything to intentionally get yourself banned will ensure that you're never welcomed back again. _________________
