I'm betting and hoping we get more that week, as coming from a big AFI fan, The Leaving Song Pt. 2 is the only thing good here. When does RBN launch again? That week? _________________

I personally think Love Like Winter is pretty good, and I really enjoy Medicate (one of the better GH5 songs). I haven't heard any others, but I'll check them out. _________________
Boop boop boop, sounds good to me. You all can stuff your opinion up your own asses, AFI is the shit get the fuck up out my toilet. And for those of you who are playing Modern Warfare 2, you were probably going to keep playing it anyway, because it's only the biggest game ever so you need to justify your purchase. NEED.
I love the butthurt that is expressed by people after others say that one of that person's favorite bands sucks.
Butthurt is not something I find myself often being with my music taste, because I know it's too all over the place for people to like it.
I wouldn't necessarily stand by my AFI comment if needed to, I just really enjoy referencing that lyric from "La La" by Lil' Wayne. Unlike most posters in this thread who had something nice to say about AFI as long as it was in the context of the band before they released Sing The Sorrow, I prefer their material from Sing the Sorrow on. So I wouldn't say they're one of my favorite bands.
I tend to agree with Havikk's post about the DLC threads prior to release. They usually don't end up being anything very worthy of high praise in terms of discussion value, the DLC threads that are added once the DLC is added for score-tracking are usually much more informative in terms of gathering everyone's opinions about the note charts, which are really the bread and butter of it all. The most engaging things you can say in a pre-release DLC thread are usually "That's going to be a blast on [instrument], can't wait" or "Where's [DLC that was never promised on a certain date unless HMX had a mental lapse]?" I know it's always a touchy subject to restrict discussion so much on this board, and I understand that this conversation doesn't get made on DLC weeks that are almost universally enjoyed, but I think your wallet not being opened in the XBL Marketplace/PSN Store speaks louder than your posts on ScoreHero.
I don't know. I guess I just wanted to make it clear that I'm not butthurt about AFI. I'm going to download The Leaving Song Pt. II and rock out with one of my friends who has an uncomfortable man-crush on Davey Havok, and then I bet I'll never play it more than once or twice in my life. But if a day comes when we get Muse DLC and someone starts complaining, my butt will be a-painin'. _________________
Glad to see The Leaving Song Pt. II, one of my favorite AFI songs. All the others sound ok too. I definitely saw Medicate coming, it was fun in GH5 should be just as fun in RB. Some of their older stuff would have been great but this pack is fine. I do hope we get another pack besides this one on the 17th though. _________________
Guys, seriously, they're releasing all this other DLC you don't want because the DLC EVERYONE wants is gonna be coming on December 8, 2009. _________________

I liked AFI during Sing The Sorrow and before that but now they just suck, Ill only be getting leaving song. pt II and i will be enjoying it more then all the other garbage their releasing now. Id rather have Ohio Is For Lovers then anything from Decemberunderground to now which is pretty bad. _________________

Why couldn't they have put just one of their "punk" songs. I would have loved High School Football Hero, I Wanna Get a Mohawk, their cover of Halloween would have been awesome to sing if nothing else...Mozgus could not have said it better.
Anything off of (if not the whole) Answer that and Stay Fashionable album would be pure ecstacy.

The Leaving Song Pt.II is great, but the other choices are disappointing. No Days of The Phoenix? Totalimmortal? Shame really, I do like some AFI but I was hoping for stuff from their earlier albums.

Anyways if every DLC thread is turning into this ranting bullshit (I know it has been in the past, but with the recent Pantera bawwing, it's getting a little worse than usual) then how about a staff just makes a thread with the song choices, adds video links, locks it and stickies it for a week? If it means we don't here all this bitching about song choices and biased opinions I'm all for it.
I mean nobody is coming in for this thread saying "I wonder what 'User X' has to say about 'Band Y'!" unless they're looking for comical relief. Everybody who looked at this thread either had some interest in what AFI songs there were or want to complain why Harmonix hasn't catered to their latest DLC fix. Shut the fuck up please, that's what the official Rock Band forums are for: endless wishlists and complaints.
One million times this. Especially when knowing about the last week DLC announcement thread having turned into an extreme flamewar, with nonsensical, non-constructive "BAWWWing" added to it.
I'm very glad to see such a great idea, Havikk. _________________

But yeah, lol @ the fact that you can say "she" in this thread and not be sure which person is being talked about. Now we know whose milkshake brings all the girls to the yard.
<3 this.
I just can't choose one. Thanks Vosnos and Prong!

Seriously people? If you don't like the pack that is going to be released, posting how AFI and Harmonix suck isn't going to change anything. I've been getting real fed up with the elitists that our community is made up of. If anything isn't metal, it's not good. It's been two years of Rock Band DLC, just give it up.
As for the AFI pack, I will be picking this up. I really like ALL AFI, unlike people who jump on the "I hate AFI after Sing the Sorrow" bandwagon.
They should release Silver and Cold... Thats the only AFI song I like. _________________
