The fact of the matter is, quoted by alex himself, Led Zeppelin was the number one most asked about band after beatles was announced.
If they do make another one, it will likely be of them. |

| Or Pink Floyd. It's not going to be a band like the Who that already has 15 (?) songs on the regular RB platform. |

I will buy the whole bundle again if so even though, i now have a beatles drum kit and ions and a too many guitars and 3 mics. If they do make a led zepp game i hope Harmonix changes up the drumset a bit. And i hope in the bundle we get a better made LP. and the additional guitars like the beatles had should be a Dragoncaster and Jimmy's Black Beauty. AHHH! i want this game so much i could go on an on. But on the other hand, i don't. This would create so many people that would be like "Oh, Led Zeppelin is like my favorite band, I have that Rock Band game with them in it and it's like totally my favorite band. My favorite song is Stairway to Heaven. OMG." And plus my friends that like just about any song that ever comes to rb would do this. |

OH NO! Other people listening to and enjoying the music you like too?! What a nightmare!
Zeppelin is overrated, The Who would be rockin'... but there's not a whole lot of creative visuals/story to have. Pink Floyd would be fucking awesome, they're another band with a sound that evolved over time and their music could definitely make for some trippy animations heh heh.
But, just give me RB3 and I'll be fine.
Or RB: Ween... a man can dream.

there are some nice features i've seen on beatles that i'd like to see on a new Rock Band game...
- the star tracking
- the top players on the leaderboards for the selected song.
- the game gives you 3 seconds before you come back from a paused game (I LOVE THIS FEATURE!)
- very motivating achievements/trophies, and rewards for getting em
so ya... RB2 is already AWESOME... but some more featured would be great

i didn't mean it like that, i meant it to be i can't stand when people, like some of my friends, think they like a band alot just because of a game. I understand that people can really start to like bands from games. But there are some people that i know that think they're the number one fan of a band after just listening to a few songs by a band. For example after playing The Beatles Rock Band, my one friend who absolutely never liked a beatles song and said they sucked and what not. And after he got the game, which he only has played about twice and played about 10 songs now thinks he's the biggest beatles fan and thinks he knows everything about them just from playing those few songs.
Also about, Led Zepp being overrated, no not at all. They have lived up to the hype countless times. The Who is in my top 5 fav bands, but after Harmonix released quite a few DLC, it's quite unlikely that they'll have a game. |

No more one band games. I hate them so much. >_< There's just not enough variety for it to be a game on its own.
I really hope it'll be RB3. RB3 should just be a perfected RB2. (More stats screen, even more efficient online, take some stuff GH5: multiple BNS, different scroll speeds on one screen, and of course a song creator.)

People do that with Led Zep anyways, RB:LZ or not. The only Journey song people know is Don't Stop Believin, the only Led Zep song people know is Stairway to Heaven... I don't at all mind that if people aren't pretending that they're super big fans of the band when in actuality they just happen to really like one or two songs.

Hahaha, I don't know why I think this is so funny. The way you phrased it makes it seem like Zep regularly goes through scheduled 'hype' checks from the government or something.

I don't know, I get the Itunes variety mindset, but sometimes I like to listen to the entire album front to back.
Personally I just hope this RBN thing eventually expands until you can just buy a bands discography if you happen to be a big enough fan. Even better if they can get the engine to support gapless albums. My dream is to play through colors front to back without any breaks. |

Led Zeppelin already confirmed that they will not allow their music to be in a music game.. So why would they allow an entire game based around their back catalogue? >_>

Apparently I already do this. Apparently it's worse when I'm playing drums. I usually don't notice, I'm too busy being in the zone, man.
