BBM confused me, and I had to ask Internetguy on AIM what it meant, and I'm no notation noob!
I don't forsee the amount of competitive Scorehero vocalists who care enough to use paths doubling with the release of TB:RB, so I just think it makes more sense to continue the use of BOD. |
Dude its just 3 letters. Whats so confusing about BBM? OD is called Beatlemania in this game so BBM would be more suited. If you don't like the term then use what your accustomed to. Like Icemage said, There are people who won't know what BOD is if they are new to Rock Band and This is their first game. |
Thanks, sometimes I get lost on my way counting to three.
I'm more concerned about consistancy within the OP rather than what the notation is. People will find out what the notation means as long as they read, but as I showed in my post earlier, BOD and BBM are both present in the OP and one or the other should be fixed to cause any further confusion. _________________

And Your Bird Can Sing - 2/sk1, 2/sk1
I'm 2nd on XBL by about 500 points with this, so there might be a better path, but I'm also not the best squeezer in the world so it may just be me. _________________

updating now.
To explain the whole BOD/BBM thing I will stick to calling it BBM. The last update was at 2:30am and I was C+Ping and not really checking for the notation accuracy. BBM is already the 3rd or 4th thing in the OP so I'll update it it saying aka BOD at the end.
Once again, sorry for any confusion guys. |

A Hard Day's Night: 4/, 2/ES.
176k is not possible on this song. There's no way a whole phrase and then some is still left to be found.
Believe-you-me, I tested just about every path there is in this song, and I had trouble finding the 171.7k path. Imagine my frustration building trying to find a 176k path. |

Something should really be 2/ES, 2/, 2/sk5.
Do You Want To Know A Secret : 2/ES, 3/. I think that's it. _________________

Eight Days a Week: 2/, 2/sk2, 3/
I Want You (She's So Heavy): 3/sk2, 3/sk2
Both first on XBox Live.
I've Got a Feeling: 2/sk1, 4/sk2, 2/ is close, but still 1000 points behind billtvshow. maybe 2/sk1 at the end, or maybe just a better last-activation squeeze? _________________

So sadly the charts do not yet feature a way to show activation windows mid phrase. I am going to work on figuring out these zones the best I can estimate and talk to Ajanata and Kawigi about the mechanics. Soon as I can help get this figured out I will be happy to path =).
Now I am going to post some stuff, cause I think this is best place to keep track of it for now. These are me trying to estimate when some windows show and don't show mid phrase.
*These are obviously estimates*
I Want To Hold Your Hand
m19 (no show) - 1.5 beats @ 132.6 bpm = .6787 sec
m65 (no show) - 1.5 beats @ 130.8 bpm = .6880 sec
m33 (show) - 1.75 beats @ 131.2 bpm = .800 sec
m56 (show) - 1.75 beats @ 129.6 bpm = .810 sec
Hello Goodbye
m18 (no show) - 1.3 beats @ 98 bpm =.759sec
Edit- Now it seems I Feel Fine has a window at measure 41 that ajanata has showing, but doesn't exist. This is 682ms long. I think there is a new measure of window length for RB:TB.
So it appears that somewhere right at 800 ms is the cutoff, but I will do more investigation =).
Also, I noticed you can double fab by yourself, is this considered solo still? Or what is the deal with this stuff.
Sorry I am doing as much as I can to break down the mechanics but don't have the game yet. _________________

Now some pathing:
This is done with charts, don't have game yet, please let me know if things are way off.
Lucy in the Sky: 2/sk1, 2/sk1, 2/sk1 [verified by Mayra]
While My Guitar..: 2/, 3/sk1-FRS, 2/, 2/sk1-ES [verified by Mayra]
Come Together: 2/sk4, 3/, 3/
I Feel Fine: 2/, 3/ [verified by Mayra, first on SH]
Boys: 2/sk1-ES, 2/sk2(after talkie right?), 2/sk1 <not sure about this
Dig a Pony: 2/, 2/, 2/sk1, 2/
I've Got a Feeling: 2sk1, 2, 2sk2, 2/BBM
Getting Better: 2/BBM, 3/sk1, 2/sk1 (is there enough squeeze to break 171k?)
Day Tripper: 3/, 2/
Drive My Car: 3/sk1, 3/ [compare to 3/, 3/ (credit to MrMitch if 3/,3/)]
Hey Bulldog: 2/, 3/, 3/(after talkie mess) [anyone care to count? lol]
Taxman: 2/, 3/
Don't Let Me Down: 2/sk1-ES, 3/sk1, 2/
I Am the Walrus: 2/, 2/sk1, 3/sk1
I'm Looking Through You: 2/BBM, 3/, 4/sk3
Sorry I can't verify, but I hope this is somewhat helpful and someone can test em out =)
If my math is correct this leaves only Octopus' Garden left with needing a path.. I can get you guys a good one tomorrow, but no promises it will be optimal or near optimal since I can't be sure of the mid phrase calculations. (And it has a ton of mid phrase windows)
Edit: Fixed Come Together path, whats the point of putting OD on a talkie if you can't get it =-\
Edit: Taxman path fixed
This fixes aren't really my fault, the game mechanics just aren't completely know yet =). _________________

Looks to be optimal. I got the same score as billtvshow, tied for first on XBox Live. Nice one. _________________
