"Solo Buttons" on Bass?

Is there any use for the solo buttons while playing bass? (Other than for carnies with small hands?)

I thought it would be neat if you could use them no-strum (like guitar solo parts) when you got to "bass groove".

Haven't tested it, though.

Confirmed, I tried for the fun of it, and I didnt do so well tapping the bass intro.

Sure! You just use them for the bass solos!

I've gotten pretty good at jumping between the two sets every single time I run into a bass solo. Haven't missed a note because of it yet.
