like I just did it naturally (I dont play the drums at all! ever! [well once on my brothers set]) the part went: R-R-R-R-G
so it would look like this (just pretend the orange is green =P). I went right hand on the red because my left hand isnt very good at drumming fast, but instead of making a quick switch to green with my right hand I just hit it with my left. I didn't even think about it. idk but I kinda like how it made it easier for me to hit that Green more consistently. _________________

I'm a lefty drummer, and I've set it to righty and crossed over and played like that. It was kinda fun. |

I'll do something like that on rare occasion, but for a phrase like that, I would use 2 hands for red. Something along the lines of: R L R L and that leads to an easy R on the cymbal. _________________

I use the crossed arm method in all of Foreplay.
I hate the fact that its the only way I can play it.
If I could teach myself to play it properly, I am more than confident I could gold star the whole song. =[ _________________

I don't cross over, but this game helps me in playing crossed on a real kit.
Normally when I play drums for real, I play "open", using my left hand on the hi-hat and my right hand on the snare, but still having the kit set up like a normal right-handed drummer's (though my snare is significantly higher). When I started playing RB, I decided not to mess with lefty flip, seeing it as an opportunity to play a different style and possibly diversify my playing. I can already testify that after playing RB for while, when I played a gig a few weeks ago where I didn't have the opportunity to move the ride cymbal over to the left side of the kit, it was much easier for me to play the ride cybmal with my right hand than it used to be! So, while RB charts can still be awkward for me, using my left hand on the snare and all, it's definitely helping to improve an aspect of my drumming. _________________

I cannot play THTF at all without crossing over. My left hand just can't keep up with the speed of the reds in the verse pattern. _________________
