Speaking of giving up, I'm having a lot of trouble with the last two talky-only phrases, "Get up... get down" and "It goes... get up!". I've got strongs on both. I can never really get the "get downs" to register as much as they should. Any tips on these?

I say the "get down" very softly and casually, as if I was bored to tears with the song(a real stretch...lol). If you end it quickly enough the game will often give you the phrase. I basically do the same thing with the "It goes..." phrase. I haven't played it in weeks, so I'm pretty rusty at it now, but that's what worked for me.

f this f'ing song.

is it just me, or are the talky parts f'ing impossible to hit??

at the very beginning there's one, and then right after the tamborines there's another TP that's an overdrive, and it doesn't matter how i say them, or if i rub with the plastic bag or what..

am i crazy (well, we know i am), or are they absurd in this song?

any tips on hitting them? because i want to smash something.

Lol, don't feel bad. You're not the only one. Through some level of trial and error, I've managed to hit all the phrases in this song, but never in the same run. It goes with Sabotage and The Hand That Feeds as one of the three gold-starrable songs I haven't gold-starred, and goes with Sabotage, and Ballroom Blitz as one of the three FC-able songs I haven't FCed. It's also the only song that the drummer in my band has gold starred on vocals and I haven't - he hit the talkies fine and then missed the phrase with the slides near the end (I think it's the second- or third-to-last phrase). But there is a way to hit them, and it doesn't depend on what pants you're wearing.

Phrase 1/3: Try singing it and don't over exaggerate it, say it casually. And if you don't have at least 50% fill up by the first word dont expect to awesome it.

Phrase2 after tambo: GUD UP (quickly) .... Get Down right as the word passes by the 4x. That one is literally all timing.
