I know the drum pads aren't perfect, but I couldn't even 5* Say it Ain't so, and trust me, my timing isn't THAT far off (I've played drums for 9 years. I've used tape but it seems like even that hasn't helped as much as it seems to help others. Did you guys have to use a lot of tape or what because it's getting bad.

I'm currently on my 3rd drumset (arriving today).

If you can't play fast notes very responsively get a replacement set.
