Has any one currently playing expert on drums tried the listed dampening techniques? Does the felt and foam kill the rolls and bounce? I imagine the mouse pads would make some expert songs really hard to play. What about kick pedal mods? Anyone know how to make it tap better for the faster bass drum lines? I may just buy a real kick pedal and do one of those mods. I need faster/better feeling double kicks.
