You might want to just add a link to the Quick Reference thread for disc paths. I'm sure you've seen it, but there's a link in my signature.
Unless it gets stickied, of course. _________________

Meh, I suck at expert vocals. I'm stuck at hard for the harder songs. :P
I'll stick with guitar, it's what I know. _________________

One thing you might wanna add with Talky Parts is that Saying them in Monotone can help with songs like Sabotage and Ballroom Blitz. _________________

Not true with Sabotage. There are at least two phrases in Sabotage that detect pitch-shift.
I don't know offhand if Ballroom Blitz does any of it as well since the words are so fast, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Epic and The Hand That Feeds, however, can be done 100% on monotone without penalty. _________________

This is great!
I do realize it too, about dairy products. I end up coughing for a little bit if I have some amount of it. I, personally, am not a good singer, I seem monotone... when RB comes up for the Wii, I'm going to see if I can improve (can't wait to do Welcome Home Guitar X/Vocals _ ).
This is great help. _________________

Thanks for all the great tips.
I'm forced to sing expert vocals because no one else can in my group of RB playing friends. I'm glad you took the time to write this out. Should help a lot. _________________

Great tips! The eyebrows thing helped. Although nothing can cure perfect tone deafness, at least I have a chance on Medium... |

I asked this in another thread, sorry in advance for the double post. But I know I can get the answer here. Hope this isn't considered cheating.
Could some one explain in detail rubbing and bagging it? If it's considered inappropriate don't reply. Thanks.
Also any song it works best on, or helps most with? _________________

Rubbing out phrases is pretty much exactly as it sounds. Rubbing the mic on anything, really, to get some tough talky parts. I like to rub into a particularly crunchy plastic bag. I use it in When You Were Young (all talkies, vid here), Sabotage (only the second "listen all of y'all it's a sabotage"), Train Kept A Rollin' (only the "Yeah, yeah wow!" phrase), and maybe one or two if I don't feel like actually risking it. Oh yeah, and make sure you have your sensitivity set to about half.
The sock and bag method is simply a variation of rubbing. I never use it, myself, but here's a vid explaining it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWf_VBDZ1kI _________________

Quick random question. I didn't deem it worthy to start a new topic.
What the HELL is with the grading system on vox? I had a pie filled like 93%, which should be a Strong. I got an Okay. I've also gotten Okay when I should have received a Messy or Weak rating. It really makes no sense to me. Another example is me getting a Strong. My pie was missing a halfway decent chunk (I don't know... Around 1/8th or something?), while when I got an Okay with a little more than that filled.
tl;dr: The grading system is schizophrenic, I think. _________________

The pie sometimes lies. The points you get do not. _________________

I've never paid attention to my score mid-song.
But if the pie lies, that should probably be fixed. >_> _________________
