|
|
11/25: 6 tiers into Expert vox, bumped score from 6.5m to 7.3m, climbed into 4th overall.
11/24: first pass at Vox campaign today, finished 6th overall. (Pic below).
11/23: There was much carnage in the Expert guitar campaign today. My final tally from a blissful afternoon of shredding:
- everything 5-starred
- 53/58 songs gold-starred
- 32 100%'s
- 5 first places, 6 second places, 6 third places, 30 top 10 scores.
- #3 overall
- 4th person to crack 9 million
These scores will inevitably drop over the next few weeks, but for now, I'm going to enjoy the moment.
Drums, you're next. _________________

Went through the vox campaign today: finished 6th overall, with tons of room for improvement
I can't shake the feeling that the talky parts are just busted. My singing is usually perfect 95-98% of the time, but I'm lucky if I hit *10%* of anything with talking in it. it's an instant streakbreaker for me every time it comes up, and it's cost me countless 100%'s on songs. I'll take any tips people have. _________________

Talky parts give me a lot of issues too. It seems to do better when I over-exaggerate my syllables and vowels.
edit: Sabotage must be pure hell for you to "sing" :x _________________

Nice job on being multi-talented, haha. Are you on Expert vox?
Sorry, I can't help you much with tips. I started on Easy vocals. _________________

RE: Vocals on expert, the key is to set your pitch before the actual word. As for the talking parts, it's literally just talking. If you can't talk then.... |

That's funny, because the only decent thing I can do in vocals is the talky parts. Maybe it has to do with personal accent / pronouciation tendancies. |
