Not really that hard. The solo only took me 4 runs to get perfect after I figured out the weird part. I also got Give It Away before this and my god that song took a long time. I kept missing the last Y or R note of the fast trill in the second solo and I choked like 3 or 4 times in the outro, but I finally got it and I'm really glad that one's out of the way.

Since I only have a PS2, I'm not really eligible for a lot of the banners, but here are the few that I have:

Well grats on finally buying it :], I only got it on Valentines Day, so that wasn't that long ago either. What you should have done though, was bought the RB bundle because it's all cheaper that way. Because seperately you're paying approximately $210-$220 (Reason I say approximately is because i'm not sure if the Mic is around like $20 or $30). And the bundle is only $160 for the ps2. And also, any song on Guitar or Bass is easier on RB. If it's on GH it'll be twice as easy on RB. But the Drums are definitely the most fun about it, so definitely get them. _________________

Indeed. Exact change FTW.
I didn't get the bundle for 3 reasons.
1. I HATE the Strat. I play it at friend's houses and always do way worse, plus I didn't want to have an extra guitar lying around collecting dust.
2. I will be playing this exclusively by myself and I have no desire to sing whatsoever.
3. With 2 instruments I don't want, it is much cheaper to buy the game separately and the drums separately. (50+80) _________________

Awesome job man! I just completed my sightreads the other day too. Didn't 5 star everything tho haha, it was all but about 9 songs but I did get GGAHT. What was your career score after you finished? _________________
Why does no one talk about Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) when talking about fast strumming? 81 notes at 16 NPS for 2.5 measures? No one's gonna hit that.
14 sightread FC's including Mountain Song O_O on RB2! |

Updated OP with my sightread stats. Career score was 8.2 million.
I actually did surprisingly well on RttH, as well as most other songs because I was using the SG (the main reason why I don't own a next-gen system w/RB) and I can hit stuff with the SG easily that I have missed with the strat when I play bass at friend's houses. _________________

Finished Medium career on medium with 58/58 5*. The only songs that gave me trouble were Timmy and Run To The Hills. I'm going through hard now, and I think I will get raped by the last tier. _________________

Lolz, I realize it's been a while since I posted the shit about buying it together and whatnot, but i'm finally responding . See if you pay 130 bucks, you might as well have forked out the extra 30 in case you do want to sing, and you could have traded in the strat for 20 bucks at gamestop, so you would have spent 140 pretty much, and considering the Strat is like 60 I think you would only be paying 20. I mean it doesn't really make a difference if the mic costs less than 10 bucks, but still :P. And also congrats on your first place, and completing the medium drums. Now go do Hard. It's not that hard after you get into it, considering I started getting good about a month ago, and now i'm number 5 on Ps2 being just shy of 8.5 mil :]. _________________

Ya I have been doing hard, but I'm stuck on RttH like everyone who gets this far and I'm taking a break to do bass/guitar FC's now. Speaking of which I just got FP/LT as my first X-Bass FC. _________________

I had trouble with RttH at first too. But idk exactly how I started figuring out how to hit the patterns, but I know when I couldn't pass the song, the spot where I always failed, is what ended up teaching me how to do it. Which is the part the is like after the intro except more kicks and no pauses. Idk, like I just hit the 3 reds with both sticks, then the 2 reds with one stick. _________________

6 new expert guitar fc's yesterday, all with pics. 2 are top 5 and I boosted my rank to 62nd overall. Expect a lot more FC's coming soon. I am a fairly accomplished guitar player so expcet my FC's to shoot up to 30 pretty quickly. I hope to get at least 45/58 FC's and 56/58 GS (RttH and GG&HT are what I'm thinking will be very difficult) _________________
