It's the whole ~30 seconds after the cowbell that gets me I don't know why, usually for the rest of the song I'm fine.

I don't know if I'm playing it to fast or what, but I get to 60% (guitar solo) and I fail almost every time, if not earlier.
I tried not hitting the triple bass but it didn't help.

I found I was struggling with hard mode until I downloaded ~20 songs and started playing them as well.
It seemed that the more drum patterns made me even better...

He managed to take the innards of the Rock Band strat, and he switched them into a playstation 3 Les Paul body
The buttons act as solo and normal buttons, and he still uses the Strat strum bar.
